The journals are made with Buffalo leather and beautifully textured handmade cotton paper (no trees were used!). The paper is made of cotton gathered from garment factory floors, recycled fruit and vegetable husk, recycled cardboard packaging material and every once in a while, a flower petal or two. The leather is hand embossed by the artist, therefore, no two are exactly alike.
